Controller: the project maintainer (natural person) who runs renoff.eu and tivustream.com as a hobby/non-commercial activity.
Scope
This policy applies to the renoff.eu website (informational pages, documentation and download links).
Data created inside the RenOff app (notes/reminders) is stored locally on the user device and is not sent to this website.
Data processed
- Browsing data: server technical logs (e.g., IP address, user agent, date/time, requested page, request outcome), needed for operation and security.
- Cookies: no profiling cookies. Technical cookies may be present depending on hosting configuration.
- Voluntary contacts: if you contact us through third-party channels (e.g., GitHub Issues), the data you submit (username, messages, attachments) is processed by that provider and may be public depending on its settings.
- Third-party resources: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which triggers requests to Google domains and related connection-data processing by that provider.
Purposes and legal bases
- Website delivery (operation, performance): legitimate interest.
- Security and abuse prevention (logs, attack mitigation): legitimate interest.
- Handling requests (support/contacts through external channels): legitimate interest or performance of steps requested by the user, depending on the case.
Recipients and transfers
In addition to the controller, data may be processed by:

- Google (Google Fonts)
- GitHub (repository, issues, releases/downloads)
- tivustream.com (if you follow links to ZeroCrypt/ZeroDrop)
Any transfers outside the EU (if applicable) depend on the providers used and their infrastructure.
Retention
Technical logs are retained for as long as needed for technical and security purposes, according to hosting settings. Content submitted to third-party services (e.g., GitHub Issues) follows that provider’s retention rules.
